Slightly Improved Oxygenation & Less Swelling

Slightly Improved Oxygenation & Less Swelling

The respiratory therapist made some adjustments to Brian’s ventilator and his oxygen sat. is at 87 (it was 84-85 at 7am this morning).
His kidney doctor will continue giving him diuretics to help get rid of the fluid his body was retaining. They’ve added protein powder to his feedings and he’s tolerating it well, with no residual.
I’m so thankful for another day. Please pray for the lungs to heal without scarring, for improved oxygenation and for no complications.
Thank you for your prayers!

The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases;
his mercies never come to an end;
they are new every morning;
great is your faithfulness.
“The Lord is my portion,” says my soul,
“therefore I will hope in him.”
~ Lamentations 3:22-24
