    Dear Corcoran Family,
Our deepest sympathy and prayers are extended. Brian was my close friend and partner. We had so much in common. We shared the love of family, a passion for law enforcement and shared so many laughs. He will never be forgotten…
    God Bless

Our Condolences to you and all of the Corcoran Family. Barry, is just shocked by the news of his passing. He was just reminiscing about their High School years, and wanted to reconnect with Brian.

    May you RIP sweet Brian.

Where to start? First, a life well lived. Then, many memories and glimpses from our “Wonder Bread” years: playing craps at Luis and Che’s; driving Luis’s XKE to Vegas; outrunning LAPD on motorcycles by hiding in Jodi Berman’s garage; Brian’s AMF Harley-Davidson “POS” edition bike; scaring jackrabbits and coyotes with small arms fire in the Mojave; world record speed runs on Malibu Canyon in the Flying Falcon (10 miles in 6:20); drinking yards of Watney’s Ale with QANTAS pilots at the Schooner in Waikiki (and thanking Jesus that we didn’t have to fly with them the next day); eating and drinking to immobility at Auntie Luisa’s luau in Waimanalo; all night poker games; water balloon fights at Oxy; meeting Yvonne’s parents in Eagle Rock; watching a UFO in Brian’s Fiat 850 from Mulholland Drive (not from Vandenberg!); his always winning the “Movie Game” with Zasu Pitts or A. Pismo Clam; and on and on and on. Despite all the fooling about, Brian always knew about right and wrong, and justice and injustice. He was destined to be a lawman.
It was only after I’d seen Brian and Yvonne together a few years ago, that I realized that he had also gained wisdom and grace; Yvonne and the kids helped complete him, made him a whole person.
He had a full life, but it was cut way too short. One of the good guys has fallen, a knight is down, and even the bad guys weep. You’ll leave a big hole in our hearts, but it was sure great while it lasted. Aloha, bruddah, you will be sorely missed. Love, Carlos
